1-DAY ATV TOUR TO MARAS AND MORAY

We'll begin the tour with pickup from your hotel in Cusco around 7:00 a.m. and head north of Cusco on a 1-hour drive, arriving at our base of operations in the Cruzpata area. Afterward, we'll be assigned ATVs, where our instructor will teach us how to operate them. After a practice run and receiving the instructor's approval, we'll continue our tour on a 40-minute ride through trails and landscapes, visiting the Moray Experimental Terraces, which are terraces created by the Incas in the shape of a sunken amphitheater. It is said that these terraces served a very important purpose: creating microclimates and promoting plant growth. We'll enjoy incredible views and learn about Inca agriculture and these terraces. After our visit to Moray, we'll return to our base in Cruzpata to drop off our ATVs and head to the Maras Salt Mines, where your guide will provide detailed information on the traditional method of salt production. Finally, we'll take our transportation back to Cusco and your hotel, ending the tour at approximately 2:00 p.m.
