Machu Picchu by Train 1 Day

• 03.30 / 04.10 hrs:  Pick up from the hotel, then we will transfer you by tourist transport to the train station.
• 06:10 hrs:  Boarding from Ollantaytambo station to the town of Aguas Calientes.
• 07:50 hrs:  Arrival at the Aguas Calientes station, where our transfer/guide will be waiting. Later they will board the bus, which will take them on a 30-minute trip ascending a zigzagging path to the incredible Machu Picchu, known as "The Lost City of the Incas."
• 9:00 hrs:  Guided tour of the Citadel, visiting the Main Plaza, the Temple of the Sun, the royal rooms, the temple of the Three Windows. For approximately 2 and a half hours.
• 11:30 hrs:  Free time to get to know the citadel in your own way, walk around and take photographs.
• 2:00 p.m.:  Recommended time to return to the bus to the town of Aguas Calientes.
• 2:45 p.m.:  Free time for lunch (included), enjoy the town, visit the local medicinal hot springs or its craft fair.
• 17:50 hrs:  Time to arrive at the train station.
• 18:20 hrs:  Departure of the train heading to the town of Ollantaytambo.
• 20:05 / 20:20 hrs:  Arrival at the Ollantaytambo train station, where we will transfer you by bus to Cusco.
• 10:30 p.m.:  Arrival in the city of Cusco.

The Machu Pichu Full Day tour begins with pickup from your hotel/accommodation approx. 3:30/04:10 am, to take you to the Ollantaytambo train station, the trip is approximately one hour and 40 minutes, once there you can board the Tourist train that will take you to Machu Picchu Pueblo. This train will be arriving at Machu Picchu Pueblo at 7:40 am and at the exit of the train station, our transfer will be waiting for you to give you an explanatory talk about the itinerary to visit Machu Picchu.

You will have time to do some last-minute shopping in the central market of Aguas Calientes, then meet the group at the Plaza de Armas or at the Bus Station to Machu Picchu. Once you are in the Inca citadel you will have a 2-hour guided tour to see and explore the most outstanding places of Machu Picchu.

Optional Tour Ascent to Huayna Picchu:  You can add this famous ascent to your Machu Picchu package, you will have the best panorama of the great Inca city of Machu Picchu from the top of Huayna Picchu. *It is subject to availability, consult before making the reservation.

After having had a great experience visiting Machu Picchu, you must return to the town of Aguas Calientes and enjoy a nutritious lunch included in our package. You will have a little free time in the town of Aguas Calientes and get to know this wonderful place. At 5:50 p.m. or 6:20 p.m. you must go to the Aguas Calientes train station and take the tourist train back to the town of Ollantaytambo.

When you arrive at the Ollantaytambo station we will be waiting for you for the transfer to the center of the city of Cusco.
